CarGo Hub

Carnock and Gowkhall Community Centre/ CarGo Hub offers excellent facilities.

Our shared community resource currently benefits a number of local user groups including Rainbows, Toddlers, Scouts, Beavers and also several Fitness Classes - Judo, Karate, Walking Football.

We are always keen to welcome other Clubs and Groups to use the facilities.

Meeting and Activity Hall

Three rooms of various sizes:
 

The larger meeting room is 6 x 5 m – up to 20 people.
 

The smaller meeting room is 5 x 3 m – up to 8 people.
 

The activity hall is 30 x 15m and is generally used for floor-based sport and exercise activities.
It is also available for seating a large group meeting seating up to 100 persons

Meeting room equipment

We provide up to 20 tables and 100 chairs as required, up to the seating capacity of each room. 

Activity hall equipment

This has fixed basketball hoops (regrettably, the court is slightly under regulation competition size).
There are also removable nets for walking football and children’s soft football and removable Badminton nets.
 

Tables    For the larger meeting room and activity hall: 1200 x 600 mm melamine top.
For the smaller meeting room (normally left in situ): 2000 x 900 mm oval beechwood top. 

Chairs    Foldable comfort chairs: For the larger meeting room and activity hall.
Eight padded beech chairs: For the smaller meeting room (normally left in situ).

Kitchen    

A fully equipped kitchen with serving hatch into the activity hall.  Available for additional hire with any room.

Kitchen equipment     Worktops with double sink plus hand-wash sink, kettle;  microwave cooker; four-slice toaster; fridge.
Small water heater; large, gas oven with four-burner hob; high-speed dishwasher.
Small amount of crockery, glasses, and cutlery, along with cooking pots.

The Centre/Hub can also be hired for private functions, birthday parties and individual sports such as Badminton and Table Tennis.

The CarGo Hub has a fully equipped kitchen making it the ideal venue for all your event needs.
